I'm Toddrick, a partner at Black Coffee and a veteran music supervisor with over 21 years of experience in creative marketing, independent film, brands and advertising. My work includes award winning campaigns for clients as diverse as Warner Brothers Pictures, Disney, 20th Century Fox, Sony Pictures, Netflix, Amazon, Paramount, Universal Pictures, Nike, Microsoft and more including a 2024 "Best Music Adaptation in a Trailer" Music and Sound Award, "Best Music Supervision in a Trailer Award" at the 2022 Guild of Music Supervisors Awards and Clio Grand Awards in both 2016 and 2026. I've had the honor to work in house and as a freelancer for many highly esteemed creative agencies including more than three years as EVP of Music at Major Major, as well as Trailer Park, Ayzenberg, mOcean/CMP+, Ignition UK, Open Road, Hands For Hire, Cimarron Group, Vibe Creative, Zealot UK, and Mob Scene. 

 

My passion for music production has led to collaborations on original music, covers and remixes with several artists, composers and music companies both for my projects as a music supervisor and as a producer and consultant collaborating on compositions across genre with an emphasis on sync. Some notable projects include works for Pete Townshend and The Who, KISS, Run The Jewels, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, UNKLE, Linkin Park, Film School, Queen Kwong, Jonny Greenwood, Amy Winehouse, Radiohead, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, Ozzy Osbourne, Perfume Genius, Hans Zimmer and many more...

 

In previous lives I played in punk and indie rock bands, booked DIY shows, and studied graphic design. I love LA punk, samurai movies, tacos, random tattoos, fonts, and making mixtapes. I'm a fan of Chelsea FC, the Dodgers and the Lakers (though my all-time favorite sporting team is Doc Gooden and the 1986 New York Mets - go figure). I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA where I currently reside with my beautiful wife, radical son and a chihuahua/terrier/mystery pup named Hamburgerrr Chester Burnett Spalding.​ ​
